These are the opening words to the Preamble to the United States Constitution. The founders of our great country wrote this for a reason... People are what drive government and not the other way around... It is past time to return Arizona State Government, with its power and authority, to the People of Arizona where it belongs.
My name is Cary D. Dolego, and it is a pleasure to be introduced to you all in this manner. Welcome to my website and please allow to tell you a little about myself. I am 52 years of age and I have lived in and around Maricopa County primarily in Phoenix for 50 years.
I raised three children from the age of 2, 4, and 5 by myself since 1989 when my ex-wife and I divorced with my Mom Dorothy Dolego's assistance. My children, Daniel, Chris, and Kelli, are ages 26, 25, and 23 respectively. Daniel is a law enforcement officer, and Chris is a U.S. Security officer in Iraq. Kelli works as a grant specialist and Kelli's daughter my granddaughter Olivia Rose is 1.5 years old.
I work in consumer banking and I own my own business called Prepaid Legal of Arizona. I am retired from Safeway Stores Inc. and after 15 years I opted out Arizona State service last May 2010 to allow more time to pursue my bachelors degree at ASU. My hobbies include country dancing and music, the arts and sciences, and attending live plays in Tempe and Phoenix. I also enjoy playing tennis, volleyball, and coed softball in and around Maricopa County. I have also played 5 instruments starting in the 4th grade. I am currently learning how to play the guitar.
I attend ASU on-line as a Senior in the College of Letters and Sciences, and I hold three certifications and two Associate of Arts degrees in Public Administration and Quality Customer Service from Rio Salado College in Tempe Arizona.
I decided to run as a write-in Green Party candidate for Governor of Arizona because frankly like many in Arizona I didn't see things changing for the better and in fact see more of the status quo of politics as usual if any of the more notable candidates is elected governor. The People of Arizona deserve better than that. They deserve a governor who is not driven by special interest groups and big money career politics and politicians. The People of Arizona deserve a governor that will work from day one to improve their lives and improve their outcomes and those of their families. The People of Arizona deserve a governor with vision. Vision to lead into the future for the next 4 years and lift the People of Arizona from the depths of poverty to be the State it once was. I accept no private campaign contributions and I challenge every candidate to do the same. I pay for my campaign out of my own funds and do not receive any matching funds from Arizona Clean Elections.
As you consider casting your vote on election day I ask you to ask yourself do you want more of the status quo and politics as usual or do you want a Governor who will work for YOU?
